New Appointments to Support Our Growing Team
We are delighted to announce the appointment of James Hickey and Hanna Kickham as Associate Directors with immediate effect. James and Hanna’s experience, dedication and proven leadership qualities will further enhance the skills and expertise within OCMA as we continue to grow and expand our practice in Dublin Cork and London.
James Hickey has over seventeen years’ experience in a broad range of projects at all stages. James graduated as an Architectural Technologist from DIT Bolton Street in 1995, received his qualification in Architecture from Oxford Brooks, is a member of the RIAI and the RIBA and is a registered Architect in Ireland and the UK. James has extensive experience in the delivery of healthcare projects and since joining OCMA in 2013 has been instrumental in the delivery of major healthcare infrastructural projects including the new Radiotherapy Treatment Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry and the Mercers Institute for Successful Ageing at St James’s Hospital both of which are scheduled to open to the public later this year.
Hanna Kickham graduated from the University College Dublin in 2000, completed her professional practice at UCD in 2005, and has extensive experience on a wide range of building types, including educational buildings, commercial retail centres, residential buildings and public infrastructure projects. Since joining OCMA in 2010 Hanna has made a unique contribution to major public healthcare projects in the country including the National Children’s Hospital and the new National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire which is scheduled to start on site later this year.
This addition of Jimmy and Hanna to our management team is part of the natural strengthening and development of O’Connell Mahon Architects as we look forward to many more years of providing highest quality professional services in architecture to our clients.
