Cork University Hospital Adult Acute Mental Health Unit

The building is clad in a combination of yellow ochre brick and cream coloured limestone as a welcoming soft pallete. The external envelope masks a series of internal landscaped courtyards which are both therapeutic and secure. A series of accent colours are used internally as part of an overall interior design and wayfinding scheme.

This project was a Design and Build contract with OCMA working on BAM Contractors team. The scheme was an exemplar design by Reddy Architects which had attained planning permission prior to OCMA’s appointment
