Contracts were signed between OCMA and Wicklow County Council on Monday the 12th of March for architect-led design team services to convert 1,200 square metres of commercial property into a new Library for Wicklow including bespoke Archive and Local Studies Services and a public gallery for community use.  The new library is located on The Mall and presents an opportunity to provide a wide range of cultural and social activity into the heart of the town while expanding the much-used library and archive services.

The project was awarded following a multi-disciplinary design competition. The Structural and Civil Engineers are Fearon O’Neill Rooney Consulting Engineers; the services engineers are IN2 Engineering Design Partnership and the Quantity Surveyors are AV Cooney & Company.
