OCMA staff gain Masters Degree in Planning Buildings for Health
We would like to congratulate Roz Murphy, an Associate Director working with OCMA since 2000, for recently achieving a Masters (MSc) in Planning Buildings for Health run by the Medical Architecture Research Unit (MARU) at London Southbank University. MARU was established in 1965 and is an educational and research centre for inter-professional training that develops the skills to brief and procure high-quality built infrastructure for the delivery of a sustainable, customer focused and effective healthcare service. Roz has had a particular interest and enthusiasm for testing and researching design and clinical planning solutions and how such learning can influence unique solutions for the planning of new facilities. This degree has given Roz a strategic overview of health services and a sound theoretical basis to her knowledge and wide-ranging experience in design for healthcare.
