Antoinette O Neill
Antoinette has 30 years’ experience in practice in Ireland and Europe in the delivery of broad range of built projects in the public and private sectors.
She demonstrates a strategic approach to the planning, co-ordination and construction of cultural, residential and healthcare infrastructure and a keen awareness of architectural design. Antoinette manages public and private projects through all statutory requirements and across all phases of procurement in the context of current and evolving standards of practice.
Within the practice Antoinette has particular responsibility for interior design and finishes and works with end-users to establish an evidence based approach to our strategy for the design of internal environments. She places particular value on the cultural role of architectural design given her background in the development of architectural policy working with the Arts Council. Antoinette was the Architectural Advisor to the Arts Council between 1998 and 2005 and the founding Chair and board member of the Irish Architectural Foundation between 2005 and 2015.
Antoinette graduated from University College Dublin in 1986. She joined O’Connell Mahon Architects in 2006 and was appointed as Associate Director in 2021.
