Declan O’Connell

Declan O’Connell is an Architectural Technologist with vast professional experience gained on a diverse array of project types and scales. From a new terminal at Dublin Airport to PPP schools’ bundles, complex healthcare projects on live campuses, and challenging residential remediation works, Declan has both breadth and depth of experience and knowledge.  Within OCMA Declan provides leadership in tender preparation which is fundamental to driving consistency and excellence in the delivery of high-standard building projects.

Declan is highly skilled and experienced in working within the design and construction team environment and has overseen substantial building projects during his time with OCMA including large-scale healthcare work such as the Radiotherapy Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry and the Pharmacy project at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Declan also has a critical role on the National Maternity Hospital project at St Vincent’s Hospital which is a development of national importance.
