North Dublin Surgical Hub Completion

OCMA is excited to announce the completion of the North Dublin Surgical Hub located on the Swords Business Campus. The Surgical Hub forms part of the HSE’s national strategy to expand capacity for day case surgery and minor procedures, and represents a key investment in the Swords area.

The project transformed an existing distribution building into a modern healthcare environment incorporating operating theatres, procedure suites, recovery rooms, consultation rooms, and a range of ancillary support spaces. A collaborative approach across the Design and Build Team supported the development of the architectural design within the constraints of the existing structure. Rapid, modern methods of construction were applied to the adaptive reuse of the building, supporting the team in achieving their targeted A3 Building Energy Rating.

Construction works, which commenced in January 2024 and concluded in November 2025, were led by John Sisk & Son Ltd.
