Laura Hanley

Laura Hanley has brought her design expertise to a wide range of building types and methods of construction. Laura has a particular interest in sustainable design and low carbon solutions and has been instrumental in the integration of environmentally orientated design practice as standard within OCMA. Laura has made a unique contribution in leading health and wellbeing projects including the 2019 RIAI award-winning Bon Secours Care Village Expansion Project and the UCC Mardyke Strength and Conditioning Gym.

Laura is a pioneer in the area of Building Information Modelling and is at the forefront of the digital transformation within the industry. She played a pivotal role in OCMA’s transition to the 3D information landscape and has since been a consistent leader within the practice BIM research group. She is continually developing her skillset in this area and has lectured in Building Information Management at MTU. Laura supports Donnacha Murphy in the leadership and development of the Cork office.
